Organic Cotton: The New Fabric of Our Lives

The discovery of an entire organic cotton clothing section at H&M led me on a search that uncovered similar items at many other retailers.

What Dockers and Designers Have In Common

Dockers has chosen to market its fall women's collection by staging trunk shows in hotel suites. Will this high-end fashion sales technique work for a brand rooted in practicality?

Is fashion for the few or many?

Marc Jacobs unabashedly admitted in an interview at his show Monday that his latest spring designs weren't for everyone. Elie Tahari, who designs clothing for "everyone," didn't even have a show.

Who will, in the end, have a better business? How much of fashion is about media buzz and how much is it about making clothes that actually work?
